Beza.net has a zero tolerance spam policy of anyone using Beza.net services to send out unsolicited commercial email and unsolicited bulk email (commonly referred to as Spam).

If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via Beza.Net system or purporting to be sent via Beza.net, please report it to our abuse dept by forwarding the original message w/ full headers to abuse@beza.net

Beza.net extends a number of services to customers who wish to send permission-based emails following the strictest guidelines. One of the services offered by Beza.net is the eMail Marketing Solution (eMS), which allows our customers to send permission-based personalized communication to their prospects and customers.

In order to enforce an anti-spam policy, we have the following definition for determining what constitutes "spam":

SPAM is an unsolicited commercial email, or an email sent to a recipient who would not have a reasonable expectation of receiving email from the sender.

What is SPAM?
What is not SPAM?
Any email advertising illicit or illegal activities.
Any message sent to email addresses which were not provided by the recipient, including those collected from newsgroups, web sites, and domain registration information.
Email sent by an organization with whom the recipient had previously established a relationship, PROVIDED THAT the sender provides a mechanism for recipients to remove themselves from the mailing list. This can include:
Product support updates

Organizational news updates

New related product offerings

In the event that Beza.net receives complaints regarding unsolicited email from a Beza.net customer source, the customer will be required to supply the external source of their customer data.

Beza.net encourages companies to respect their customers' time and attention by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual email addresses.

Regulations for eMS Users
The following are just a few ways Beza.net is ensuring list operators, owners and/or administrators are adhering to strict guidelines and policies establish by Beza.net to prevent abuse:

1
License Agreement: Each mailing list operator is required to agree to a strict license agreement prior to being permitted to use Beza.net eMS services. Failure to adhere to any of the terms of the agreement will result in immediate account termination.
2

Disclosure: List operators must disclose to their subscribers the following:

  • Why they are collecting user's email addresses,
  • How they plan to use the email addresses, and
  • Provide a privacy policy to protect subscribers.
3
Double OPT-IN: List operators have agreed to communicate with subscribers via an opt-in process which means a confirmation e-mail will be sent to users to confirm their subscription.
4
Mandatory Unsubscribe Link: All messages sent via Beza.net eMS will include an unsubscribe link for recipients to remove their email addresses from the mailing list from which the message was sent. The removal process is automated and is effective immediately.
5

6
Contact Information - Every eMS email includes contact information of eMS sender.
7
Monitoring eMS Activity: Beza.net actively monitors all list imports and emails being sent to subscribers. This ensures we are proactive rather then reactive to prevent possible abuse of eMS services.
8
Frequency: Beza.net encourages list operators to respect their customers' time and attention by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual email addresses. All eMS operators are required to disclose a privacy policy which includes how often a subscriber will receive email communication.
9
Account Termination for Abusers: Reports of unsolicited email may result in the cancellation of a mailing list account without a refund. Any customer found to be using Beza.net eMail Marketing Solution (eMS) for sending spam, will be immediately banned from use of eMS.
