Setup Email on Apple iPhone

Below are the step-by-step instructions to set up your BEZA.NET e-mail account on an Apple iPad or iPhone device.

If you run into any issues, please restart Email Assistance or contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

STEP 1

From the Home screen on your Apple iPad or iPhone, choose Settings.

STEP 2

2a. Under Settings, select Accounts & Passwords.

2b. Select Add Account.

STEP 3

Select Other as the type of account.

STEP 4

Select Add Mail Account.

STEP 5

Complete all fields like so:

Name: Enter your name (eg John Doe)

Email Address:
enter your email address (eg john.doe@your-domain.us)

Password:
enter your email password

Description:
enter a unique account description (eg Email for your-domain.us)

STEP 6

A. Select IMAP option (recommended)

B. Complete INCOMING Mail Server section with the following:

Host Name: enter your mail server host name
User Name: enter your email address
Password: enter your email password

C. Complete OUTGOING Mail Server section with the following:

Host Name: enter your mail server host name
User Name: enter your email address
Password: enter your email password

STEP 7

Select Next once all fields have been properly completed.

STEP 8

Your phone will now verify the information entered with the Mail Server. If verification FAILS, please verify you’ve entered the information correctly:

Host Name: enter your mail server host name
User Name: enter your email address
Password: enter your email password

STEP 9

Once the verification process is complete, click Save.

Congratulations, you have successfully setup your BEZA hosted email on your Apple device!

HELPFUL TIPS:

Based on the email address your provided on the Email Setup Assistant, the following is a summery of the settings you’ll need to successfully setup your email:

Email Address:No email listed, restart Email Setup Assistant.

Complete INCOMING Mail Server section with the following:

  • Select IMAP option (recommended)
  • Host Name: enter your mail server host name
  • User Name: enter your email address
  • Password: enter your email password
  • Server Port: 993
  • Use SSL: Enabled

Complete OUTGOING Mail Server section with the following:

  • Host Name: enter your mail server host name
  • User Name: enter your email address
  • Password: enter your email password
  • Server Port: 587
  • Use SSL: Enabled
