Setup Email Settings
Below are the various settings needed to set up your BEZA.NET e-mail account on any email client. Checkout some common devices and software used most commonly for sending and receiving email.
If you run into any issues, please restart Email Assistance or contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Based on the email address your provided on the Email Setup Assistant, the following is a summary of the settings you’ll need to successfully setup your email:
Email Address: No email listed, restart Email Setup Assistant.
User Name: enter your email address (eg john.doe@your-domain.us).
Password: enter your email password.
Incoming Mail Server: enter your mail server host name.
- Incoming mail server type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server Port: 143 or 993
- This server requires an encrypted connection: Enabled
- Type of Encryption: Auto*
(*NOTE: Port 143 uses TLS while Port 993 uses SSL encryption) - Incoming User Name: enter your email address (eg john.doe@your-domain.us).
- Incoming mail server Password: enter your email password.
Outgoing Mail Server: enter your mail server host name.
- Outgoing mail server type: SMTP
- Outgoing mail server Port: 465 or 587
- This server requires an encrypted connection: Enabled
- Type of Encryption: Auto*
(*NOTE: Port 465 uses SSL while Port 587 uses TLS encryption) - Outgoing mail server requires authentication: YES
- Outgoing User Name: enter your email address (eg john.doe@your-domain.us).
- Outgoing mail server Password: enter your email password.
